That is the average American in that picture. Head buried in the sand, they don't care about politics, they don't care about how what happens elsewhere in the world affects them.

 They sit and drool while they look at the god damn television assuming that NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, CNN and the rest are all reporting the news as it should be.

It's this "I don't give a fuck" attitude that has us where we are now. We no longer have a democracy. Those that have been paying attention know this. We are knee deep in a fascism. Our Congress has been neutered; just look at how Nancy Pelosi shut up people like Dennis Kucinnich and others who wanted to tell America the truth and remove the criminals and constitution haters out of the hallowed halls of Washington, D.C.

But most Americans are totally oblivious to this. They fail to ser how even the Democrat Party has been acting like sheep in wolf's clothing.

Think back to your primaries. Who were the two people that the complicit media gave all the attention to?

That's right Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Meanwhile the progressive candidates that wanted us out of Iraq now, who wanted to impeach Bush and Cheney, who actually respects and honors the Constitution of the United States, were all minimized in the press.

Likewise republican, real Republican candidates like Ron Paul, were also minimized. Voters were convinced that the "lesser" candidates didn't have a snowballs chance in hell to win so they were sold McCain and they were sold Clinton and Obama. While the sales pitch was going on, these dumb bastards failed to look at one important thing.

Probably the most important litmus test for any so-called liberal Democrat- the voting records of Clinton and Obama. Time and time again, they failed to stand up to Bush and actually voted to pass things the Bush Crime family wanted. Most recently in Obama's case was the FISA bill, a bill that he voted for while real progressive Democrats said no.

I have to laugh at all these god damn stupid people, with their "STOP THE WAR" signs that support Obama or Clinton. Hillary Clinton has been on the bandwagon to attack Iran. She voted for a resolution calling the Iranian National Gaurd a fucking terrorist organization. Never mind that we used our military as a terrorist organization to terrorize and torture people in Iraq for the last six years.

It really doesn't matter who wins in November. In fact, part of me thinks that, unless Obama plays along there won't be an election at all.

Last May, something happened that was under the radar of most Americans. The media didn't run investigative exposes on the possible ramifications of what Bush had done. And keep in mind, while this directive, that you will read about in the moment, was being issued, sitting Senators like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton did nothing to stop it. They could have passed a law outlawing it. Then it would be up to the court to see if it is constitutional. But that never happened and so it stands.

Bush, without so much as issuing a press statement, on May 9, 2007 signed a directive that granted near dictatorial powers to the office of the president in the event of a national emergency declared by the president.

The "National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive," with the dual designation of NSPD-51, as a National Security Presidential Directive, and HSPD-20, as a Homeland Security Presidential Directive, establishes under the office of president a new National Continuity Coordinator.

That job, as the document describes, is to make plans for "National Essential Functions" of all federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal governments, as well as private sector organizations to continue functioning under the president's directives in the event of a national emergency.

The directive loosely defines "catastrophic emergency" as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions."

When the President determines a catastrophic emergency has occurred, the President can take over all government functions and direct all private sector activities to ensure we will emerge from the emergency with an "enduring constitutional government."

Keep in mind, it is George W. Bush, the insane bastard who lies and is a war criminal that decides this unilaterally. No checks and balances, no input aside from Cheney telling him what to do. He decides

Translated into layman's terms, when the President determines a national emergency has occurred, the President can declare to the office of the presidency powers usually assumed by dictators to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over.

Ironically, the directive sees no contradiction in the assumption of dictatorial powers by the President with the goal of maintaining constitutional continuity through an emergency.

The directive specifies that the assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism will be designated as the National Continuity Coordinator. Further established is a Continuity Policy Coordination Committee, chaired by a senior director from the Homeland Security Council staff, designated by the National Continuity Coordinator, to be "the main day-to-day forum for such policy coordination."

The directive issued May 9, 2007 makes no attempt to reconcile the powers created there for the National Continuity Coordinator with the National Emergency Act. As specified by U.S. Code Title 50, Chapter 34, Subchapter II, Section 1621, the National Emergency Act allows that the president may declare a national emergency but requires that such proclamation "shall immediately be transmitted to the Congress and published in the Federal Register."

A Congressional Research Service study notes that under the National Emergency Act, the President "may seize property, organize and control the means of production, seize commodities, assign military forces abroad, institute martial law, seize and control all transportation and communication, regulate the operation of private enterprise, restrict travel, and, in a variety of ways, control the lives of United States citizens."

The CRS study notes that the National Emergency Act sets up congress as a balance empowered to "modify, rescind, or render dormant such delegated emergency authority," if Congress believes the president has acted inappropriately.

NSPD-51/ HSPD-20 appears to supersede the National Emergency Act by creating the new position of National Continuity Coordinator without any specific act of Congress authorizing the position.

NSPD-51/ HSPD-20 also makes no reference whatsoever to Congress. The language of the May 9 directive appears to negate any a requirement that the President submit to Congress a determination that a national emergency exists, suggesting instead that the powers of the executive order can be implemented without any congressional approval or oversight.

NOW YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF AN IMPORTANT QUESTION:

WHY WOULD THEY CREATE THIS IF IT WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED?

Right now we are witnessing the set-up for the justification of invoking NSPD-51/ HSPD-20. The conflict between Georgia and Russia was planned. The Bush Crime Family urged the Georgian puppet President to attack the Southern region of its own country to instigate Russia. Once Russia came to the aide of the people that were being bombed the spin machine started with the help of Condi Rice.

 

A good number of Americans, and people I spoke to personally, were under the impresion that Russia pre-emptively attacked georgia like we did in Iraq. That is untrue- they came into the conflict in defense of those people.

Yesterday Condi Rice signed an agreement with Poland to place ten missile "defense" areas just a little over 100 miles from the Russian border. This lying bitch said that, well, it's to protect Poland from countries like Iran and North Korea.

If Iran hasn't developed nuclear weapons yet what does Poland or we need protecting from? Last month the neo-cons in Israel said again that they were considering a pre-emptive strike in Iran.

That is how things will go down.

There will be some trumped up excuse and Israel will attack Iran in alleged defense. We already have a number of battle ships hovering off the coast of Iran. We, of course, will go help our good friends in Israel.

Russia and Iran are good friends because of oil. Syria has just invited Russia to build a base ther and a Russian aircraft carrier is currently on it's way there.

The neo-cons, who need another "Pearl Harbor", like they did with 9/11, to sell dumbed down America the new threat, the new thing to fear- Russia and Iran, helped to start the mess in Georgia. If you look arround on YouTube and Google you will see pictures of Russian soldiers, in the area where Georgia bombed, riding on US military Humvies. This little flash point was the Pearl harbor.

Some time either before or after the election Israel will attack and we will be in the beginning of World War III. At that point Bush will say we are in a time of national emergency and a transfer of power will not be a good idea.

If that does not happen then it only means one thing- that both McCain and Obama are on board with the neo-cons.

I know many will think I am blowing smoke out of my ass but think for Christ's sake.

Can you name me one fascist regime in history that quietly gave up power unless they were either taken out by the citizens or another country intervening or if they had, in place, successors that would carry on as they had?

Go ahead name me one.

Tell me what logic there is in the Bush Crime Family spending eights years undoing the Constitution and rendering the system of government we once had totally null and void. There is no logic to it.

Would these people gain all this power to hand it over to a liberal Democrat?

The answer is no.

So go ahead and wave those Obama banners. Keep on having your irrational pipe dreams about Obama taking the oath of office and then magically restoring all that has been destroyed. If that man was really into fixing what was broken he would be telling us what was really going on now. He would have demanded a stop to NSPD-51/ HSPD-20, don't you think?

We are in dire straights now, and you know what, ultimately we are going to get what we deserve like the people of the 1930's and 40's Germany got. We Americans don't give a shit and are lazy. We fail to read and we just let the TV news do the thinking for us. We let our bigotry, our homophobia do the thinking for us. And the German people back then did the same.

We will get what we earned. After the end of the Cold war we had at least twenty years to do good. To sit down with Russia and other world powers and stop all the senseless wars and violence but our leaders we put into power chose not to.

We have pranced around, for the last eight years, like our shit does not stink. Meanwhile we have allowed our government to commit international war crimes and crimes against humanity and most Americans were more aware of what was happening on American Idol than what was happening in Washington and on the world stage.

So if my predictions are right, I will not be surprised. Just as history shows that fascists regimes do not step down quietly it shows that countries with more sensible leaders usually have to come and intervene.

Maybe when it is your town, your family member, or loved ones that are blown to bits by a Russian missile hitting our soil, you, the people with their heads buried in the sand, will finally wake up to  the nightmare that has been engineered over the last eight years.

Don't expect Barack Obama to save your ass. You have to save your own ass and the way to do that is to think for yourself, educate yourself about what is really going on and stop believing everything you see on the TV.
